What is the difference between LCRServix and ordinary used servers?

This is a key difference. LCRServix specializes in selling Lenovo Certified Refurbished (LCR) servers, not ordinary used or refurbished servers from other sources.
    This means:

    • All servers come from Lenovo's official certified refurbishment process or authorized channels.
    • Each server undergoes rigorous inspection, repair, data erasure, and functional testing by Lenovo's original factory engineers.
    • Original Lenovo parts are used to ensure compatibility and stability.
    • They meet Lenovo's enterprise-grade performance, security, and reliability standards.
    • They are covered by Lenovo's official warranty service.

Ordinary used servers may come from various unofficial channels and lack official verification. Every device from LCRServix, however, undergoes the same factory-level quality control as a new machine.

Why are LCRServix servers so inexpensive?

That's a great question. The price advantage you've noticed doesn't come from compromising on quality, but from the real value delivered by Lenovo's official circular economy model and strict quality control. The core principle is: you avoid paying the premium for the "brand new" label as the end user, while ensuring the same reliable performance and service as enterprise-grade new equipment.
The reasons for LCRServix's low prices are:

    • Short enterprise refresh cycles: Many large enterprises refresh their IT infrastructure every 3-5 years, even if the equipment could still be used for many more years.
    • Well-maintained enterprise-grade equipment: These servers operate in enterprise data centers with clear maintenance records and controlled temperature and humidity environments, often in better condition than we might expect.
    • Rapid depreciation of new products: Server technology is relatively stable, and prices drop immediately after new products are launched, but the performance difference is not significant for most applications.
    • Economies of scale through Lenovo's official channels: We obtain a large inventory through officially certified refurbishment systems, allowing us to purchase at lower costs and pass those savings on to our customers.

But low price doesn't mean low quality: Lenovo's official refurbishment process ensures the reliability of every device.

Can I customize the server configuration?

Yes. We support custom configurations such as memory and storage upgrades. Please leave us a message, fill in the request form, or email your requirements before or when placing the order, and we will propose a configuration and quote based on available stock.
